FUNDRAISING AND SPONSORSHIP

RBM has a financial strategy that seeks to hold annual Club Fees (including the SWA fee) at a reasonable level, currently $170 per member. Given the Club’s growth, the desire to attend an Interstate meet annually, and the success in members qualifying for Australian Open National and Age National meets (for which the Club pays the Coach’s costs), some fundraising and sponsorship is essential to balance the books.

Sponsorship

Some sponsorship has already been secured to help with the trip costs and to provide the monthly ‘Swimmer of the Month’ trophies. The club plans to approach local businesses and shops for support. If you own, work for or are linked with such an enterprise that may help us with sponsorship (again modest amounts!) please speak to Ann Blaxill or Steve Walker.
