This is a reflection of how important our junior development programme is to our club’s future. Almost every person named here started their swimming training in the 25m pool programme
on Monday and Thursday mornings.
It is very exciting to think we can resume suitable pathway training for our amazing junior swimmers in April at Trinity Pool. This means that our domination of junior swimming in Western Australia will be able to continue in the future.
I would like to take this opportunity to recognise the efforts in the past twelve months of Ryan Weston. He is an outstanding talent who has swum his heart out for our club for 2009/2010. No one was more sad than me (except Ryan himself) to see him unable to complete his season due to a virus which prevented him from competing in States.
Ryan is destined for great things in swimming and this is a minor setback but his acceptance and positive attitude was to be admired. He took it well and still came along to support his teammate on Sunday when he knew she needed his support.
Thanks Ryan for your contribution to our club this season.
